Womb in Bloom Doula
Let's Meet
I'm Natalie
My passion to "mother the mother" began with the birth of my own babies. I have been blessed with 3 amazing homebirths! And all while learning about our incredible womanly bodies, and learning how birth is just a natural function. It wasn't until I went through the beautiful process of birth and the challenges of postpartum, that I understood just how much care and support us moms truly need. I as your Doula, help you navigate those fears and challenges. I am here to reassure you and comfort you with my hands, and my words as you and your partner go through this birth journey. I as your Doula, pamper you during postpartum, I want to make sure you are fully cared for inside and out!
During my serving and training as a Doula I have supported over 45+ births, from home, to hospital, and even to Africa!
In 2020 I traveled to Tanzania as a Doula to volunteer in two rural maternity clinics. Being in a whole new country, mixed with the intensity and realness of birth came with many new and exciting challenges. Witnessing life coming into this world, life being taken away, language barriers, and trying to soak in a whole new culture, it was an adventure of a lifetime!... But nothing beats connecting with women during their time of birth and raw transformation. I was humbled by the power of touch with little to no words. From something as big as bathing her after the birth of her new baby, (In a place where there is little to no running water). Or as small as an exchange of reassuring smiles, went such a long way! It gave me more confidence in my passion as a Doula!
No matter where you are on this journey whether a hopeful expectant, pregnant, or a new mama, I am here to help you and your "Womb, Bloom!"

"Asking your partner to be your sole guide through labor is like asking your partner to lead the way on a climb of Mount Everest. Your partner may be smart and trustworthy, and you love this person, but in the Himalayas you'll both be better off with a Sherpa."

Client Love
One word: Amazing! That's what Natalie is. I could write a whole paper about Natalie as my Doula, but I'll keep it short. She saw me through the whole way. From before time to give birth to even postpartum. She made sure that anytime I needed her, she'd be right there. I messaged her at 2am that I needed her. She was on her way in 15 minutes. The moment she got to my house, she never left my side. I was in labor for 24 hours!! Natalie knew all the right ways to help me get through the pain. She massaged me, she helped me into different positions to see what worked, and she backed off when I said I didn't like something. She even let my husband take the reigns to give us that intimacy we wanted. Of course, it didn't last long because I needed her back asap. Did I mention she knew all the right ways to help? Her hands are genius. Natalie also knows what to say to keep you motivated. She was constantly speaking encouragement over me. I didn't always hear it, but that didn't stop her. My favorite thing about having Natalie by my side was that she never complained about anything. Even when I was pulling on her shirt and squeezing her side and arm with all my might. Also, she has helped me sooo much postpartum! I felt like I was overloading her with questions, but she assured me that she loved answering any questions I had. She even offered to watch the baby so I could get some shut eye or if I just needed a break. I love Natalie, and I will most definitely have her at my next birth! You will not regret choosing her as your Doula!!

I absolutely loved having Natalie as our doula! This was my third birth but first home birth. She was extremely helpful and very calm. Natalie has lots of suggestions for things I could try for pain alleviation during labor and birth, and was 100% okay when I didn't want to take a suggestion or something wasn't working for me. She was solely focused on helping me have the best possible experience with my first home birth. Natalie is kind, caring, and easy to get along with. I met her for the first time less than 2 weeks before my due date, yet was totally comfortable having her there for my birth. I had no idea what I was getting into with home birth but Natalie was such a huge help in making it a choice I would definitely make again if we go for baby number four.
I would definitely recommend Natalie as a doula, whether for your first home birth or you're a pro!

"Natalie is a natural when it comes to providing care as a doula. The whole time I was in labor, she was a calming presence and helped my husband and I get through the life-changing time with ease. We truly felt cared for and I felt I had an ally and champion while in the hospital. I cannot recommend Natalie enough!"

"I had the honor of seeing Natalie in action before she was my Doula. She was my sister-in-law's doula for her home birth 4 months prior to me having my baby. & let me just tell you... the tone in her voice, the strength in her pressure, the passion and encouragement in her words that I witnessed...
I just knew I needed to snag her for my birth!! And even though I didn't choose to have a home birth this time, and planned to go all natural in the hospital setting... she gave no judgement when I told her my code word for needing an epidural! Haha...
Anyway, if you're considering having a Doula for this special time in your life, I would ABSOLUTELY 10/10 recommend Natalie for you! You will not regret it!"
